Resetting your Epson Modern Epson M3170 printing machine has built-in software/firmware that counts the number of prints you make, and each model has a set limit that produces messages, such as service required or your printer needs maintenance.

If you do not reset the security counter, these messages will continue; this period is called Overflow. Each model also has a set amount of prints allowed on the Overflow, after which your printing will stop working immediately. 1. Extract the downloaded zip file.

2. Click on Adjprog.exe and click on the Run AdjPro file.

3. Next, click on – the select button 

4. And choose your model name ( M3170)

5. Now choose port – click on Ok

6. After, click on a particular adjustment mode

7. Now choose Waste Ink Pad Counter – click on Ok

8. Next, select or tick on the Main Pad Counter 

9. Click on the Check button 

10. To reset the waste ink pad counter, select the Initialization button       

11. Next, please turn off your printing machine, and restart it.
